Privacy.

What we collect.

Only what you choose to send us. If you fill in the inquiry form, we receive your name and email address, and — if you provide them — your phone number, project location, project type, budget range, and whatever you tell us about the project. That is everything you give us directly; the analytics below is the only other thing on the site.

Site analytics.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, what device they're on, and whether they sent an inquiry. It sets cookies to do that. It doesn't tell us who you are, and nothing you type into the inquiry form is sent to it. We run no advertising pixels and don't build profiles of visitors. You can block analytics with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on without affecting anything else on the site.

Why we have it.

To reply to you, and — if we go on to work together — to carry out the project. We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who else handles it.

A small number of service providers, each only to do their part:

• Sanity — stores inquiries so we can keep track of them
• Resend — delivers the email that tells us your inquiry arrived
• Vercel — hosts this website
• Google Workspace — our email
• Google Analytics — measures site traffic, as described above

These providers process information on servers in Canada and the United States.

How long we keep it.

Twelve months. Inquiries are deleted from this website's records automatically once they pass a year old — nightly, whether or not anyone remembers to. If a message reached us by email as well, that copy lives in our own mail system and isn't covered by that schedule. Either way, ask and we'll delete yours sooner.

Your rights.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to inquiries@cleancutdesignbuild.com and we'll deal with it. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may also raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes.

If we change how any of this works, we'll change this page with it.
